received funding from the Irish Film Board for a short film she wrote ’An Rinceoir’ which she directed in May 2011 and which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in July 2011. Selected for the Torino Film Lab’s Script & Pitch Programme 2010, the only Irish participant that year

2014, story published in summer issue of The Stinging Fly. 2012, shortlisted for Writing Spirit Award, 2011, shortlisted for RTE Guide/Penguin Ireland short story competition. 2012, Story ‘The Pyjama Girls’ chosen as story of the month by writing4all. 2012, story published in ‘Boyne Berries’, autumn issue.

Winner of  European Week Against Racism poetry competition. Story published on fivestopstory.com.  Longlisted for RTE Guide Penguin Ireland Short Story Prize. 2011: Poem published in The Echo, Oct 27. Story published in Senior Times, Issue 51. 2010: Awarded first prize in City of Dublin VEC Sports and Cultural Council Writing Awards. Placed third in City of Dublin VEC, SCC Writing Awards.
